hey

no reads.

I just wanted to know your thoughts , is folding okay here? seems a bit nitty imo.

In the early stages of the tourney villians 3-bet range is going to be rather strong. They may 3-bet a wider range
though hero has opened in early postion so i think thats less likely , unless i've been opening a ton.

cheers.

Yeah it’s a definite flat here. Hand is very strong, especially suited. This early in a tournament the blinds are still quite low so it’s not too expensive for him to 3 bet. Flat and see the flop, if you whiff completely you can fold to a cbet.

From now on, when I am in the blinds and an early position raise gets folded round to me I am 3bet/C-Betting.

In this example you would get odds to call even if you knew villains range is AK or a pair. Also 4betting is an option. Generally folding here without reads is way too tight.

I wouldnt expect this to work a tonne of the time, especially once villains figure out you are doing this outside the 'normal' frequency. I also expect you to bust alot in spectacular fashion due to being against tight ranges, or have your cbet called alot and have some really tricky spots on turns OOP.

It is actually correct to defend your BB against EP quite alot given pot odds.
