Just won the last hand on a bluff against villian he is running a 29/15 over 55 hands. Was this a bad fold? my thinking was that I could find a better spot.

the cold 3bet into a donkbet and a raise looks insanely strong here – at worst he has overs + nfd here.

i think that if you are going to fold to a relatively safe turn card, then you should probably fold flop instead. decision on whether you want to continue with the hand has to be made on the flop imo.

I didnt think about it that way. My thought process was that he would have 3bet a stronger hand, but if I didnt fold the flop then folding the turn was def spewy. thnx for the insight

Agreed with benny his line is super strong but if we are going to fold to a safe turn we need to fold to his 3b on flop.

I mite call the donk bet to asses the turn but since you raised a donk bet then there is another raise your hand doesn't seem too strong here. Most likely the other villan has QQ or set? This play seems too unlikley with the nut flush draw.

Fold it and find a better spot.

which makes his range crush yours.  + we have to worry about the guy leading out (not that he's a huge concern but still has a non-zero chance of having a hand)

If you're going to call here you need to jam when a “safe” card comes.

The pot is 8805 and you have 10,900 appx. behind.

If you do anything else after calling the flop I think it's pretty bad because you'll either let him check back his draws for a free card in a huge pot or you'll let him bet and now you either have to shove with zero fold equity or fold and look ridiculously weak.
