…..AFA7A34715

Only 17 hands on this guy so no read if limping is standard for him.

After he 3bets I think 'Oh well I have KK' but after his 5b stuff what could he possibly be doing this with other than AA?

Is anyone (honestly) getting away from this and if so at what point?

Yes it really looks like AA espacially whit his sizing but I don't think I'm fodling with no info on vilain. After your 4bet you are almost commited and sometimes he has AK or QQ/KK or a random hand like 88, ATo, 72o…

But yes with a better read on vilain it's maybe a spot where folding KK is ok but I'm maybe leveling myself…

the way you played it one might get away.

bc you just clicked it and it looks really strong

generally not getting away though as i just shove over his raise. in the big8.8 they show often enough up there with things like AK or even worse

I could not get away from this… Yes his 5 bet jam does somewhat narrow his range, however you would also have to include AKs, QQ – Not sure if villian has a bluffing range in this spot without a specific read, however KK with an effective 37bb stack – 100% i am getting it in.

Just the wrong end of a classic cooler… We have all be there – I surpose another question might be if the tables were reversed, i.e. if you had the AA and villan the KK would he have folded pre? I would suggest not…

Against some people I can consider folding KK pre, but not readless in an $8 tourney, especially with the dead money in the pot.

I suppose you could flat his 3 bet since you are IP, but are you really going to fold a 7 high rainbow flop?  If the intent was to set mine, then you could carry through your plan and just fold since you would still have 38 bigs left but I feel this is a pretty tough spot with no reads and unless you have seen him take this line with AA/KK or maybe QQ then this is just a cooler.

In this tourney in this spot w/ little reads. 94.58% NEVER folding to him.  Agree with Ttwist…….   I was reading Jonathan Little's book this week and even he says, if you get coolered in this spot, move on to the next one.  It's part of the game.
