What to do here? The villian was pretty aggressive pre-flop, raising a lot of hands. I 3-bet him pre once & he folded (should probably have been doing that more). This was a real small MTT “home game” & this was the final 9 players… I was the chip leader at the time…
Should I have 3-bet pre with 88 from the button with 34.5 BBs?
As played, on such a draw-heavy flop, should I just shove over top of his lead-out? Put in a non all-in raise? Should I be at all worried about his hand? Since he was so active pre, I figured he could have just about anything – maybe QJ or a flush draw or something along those lines…..
Thanks!

Cougars – are you thinking calling here & shoving over a turn bet is the best way to get it all in? Is that the goal? He'll be at 1860 on the turn with a pot of 1650, so if he leads out for 800 or so he'll only have 1000 left & would probably be priced in to a call, which I assume is what we want…. We're not at all worried about what he has or what the board may bring on the turn?
Jshilling – are we shoving if a third heart comes to represent the flush & get him to fold? Or do we do it because we have no heart & don't want to see a 4th one on the river? You thinking call call call to let him hang himself, or for pot control?
Just trying to understand the reasoning better – thanks!
I like Cougars line. His most likely hands include a J, some sort of straight draw, or maybe a flush draw. By taking cougars line you let him hang himself if he wants to semi-bluff the turn again or value bet a hand like QJ-AJ. I don't think you should be concerned about his hand too much, if he flopped a set of jacks so be it and even if a scare card comes on the turn and you end up getting it in behind you still have outs. You asked about the goal and the goal is definitely to get it in, you just don't want to blow him off his hand by jamming the flop when he has complete air or a weak draw that he might bet again on the turn. At least that's my thoughts.
I jam it on the flop. If he's on a heart draw most likely its with two overs and he's gonna call. If he's got an overpair he's most likely gonna put you on the draw and call. If he's got air (ak or aq) if doesn't hit on the turn he most likely going to shut down at that point anyways. JJ is a cooler but never gonna stop me from trying to stack someone in this spot. Get paid or go get laid. How can you lose?
