This is from a 10 dollar home game on Pokerstars with 9 players and there are 6 players left.
We all know each others play very well as we play live together also a few times a week.
Blinds are 125/250
Hero UTG (8369)
SB (15,132)
BB (19779)
I min raise UTG with Qd Jd
Sb and Bb call
Flop (1680) is Ad 9d 8d
Sb and Bb check
Hero bets 750
Sb folds
Bb raises to 1500
Hero?
Bb is a good player and he is also a verry trappy player. He is a tight player who thinks I am very often bluffing him so he like to set a trap. Also if he senses weakness, he is very capable of taking down pots.
Should I flat call here in position and give hime the chance to bet again or should I raise to protect my hand?

Hi,
I think the reason for raising is not for protection, it’s to get value now of your hand, as many scary cards that will kill the action can come in further streets. You could be in a cooler situation where V has a lower flush and will probably go on xf mode if there’s any other diamond in turn or river, same thing with two pair / sets.
If you expect many bluffs in his range then you should obviously call, as he may also try to wrap the same hand you are holding.

v is a tight player as you have mentioned , so i reckon the top of their range here would be hands like 89/A9/A8 , lower flush, 88/99 would really be icing on the cake IMO only a few combo's of that. Their range will be much wider then this given that they're getting a good odds to call with a very wide range of hands from the bb. So that makes me wonder that their flop raising range is going to be wide rather then strong hands. This makes me just wanna call and let them barrel off. The question is let them barrel of with exactly which range of hands? Thing is you do block combo's of v having a flush draw, Unless they are getting fancy with a hand like JT..or some kinda weird hand like 67..
If v does have a lower flush the money is likely to go in anyway and if they do have a set the money is going in as well, you have a spr of 4 , stacks are shallow , so i dont mind just calling flop and check/shoving turn.
Yes There's going to be some bad turn cards for v like perhaps a (if they have a low flush) and if they have a set a diamond would be a terrible card for them , but the chances of a 4 card flush is not very likely nor is it likely to pair that often as you may think. I just reckon their range is going to be pretty wide here given that you said that v thinks your bluffing him often.
