Hard to fold a set on a board like this considering he could have so many draws the only thing that we are really drawing dead to is 88/JJ..9T we have outs I wouldnt think he has an overpair. So its a draw  we are racing or he has us crushed. This may be a fold and a big one at that. I would probably call but I honestly think you may be behind already.

Preflop looks fine….the flop looks like you pot it. It depends on what your trying to do. If you want him to come over the top so you can ship it bet a little less than half pot if you think he will spaz. Since its a draw heavy board I like 2/3 to pot bet size.

OK I may have bet more on the flop then its like the your bet would be raised often by a draw. That being said I think I have to get it in.

I’m never folding here. It looks like he’s shoving a draw, tbh. Did he tank shove or just instantly cram it in the middle?

Can’t imagine a flopped straight jams here. If he has 88 or JJ (JJ shouldn’t flat pre) say nh and move on.

Same. Never folding here. Unless he has 9 10 you have the best hand right now (JJ re-raises pre so I guess that leaves 88 as the only other possible hand you are losing to right now) There are so many other combos of hands that you have crushed. Easy call for me.

Wait. You’re saying you just open jam the flop?

PF is fine. Flop is too small though considering such a drawy texture and it’s 3-way.

I hate being the guy who is like “OMG YOU HAZ A SET YOU CAN’T FOLD!” but with just over 30BB i honestly don’t think you could even come up with any sort of reasonable set of assumptions under which this could ever be a fold.

OK thanks for all the responses. I obv felt like he was on a big draw, so I called.

He turned over JJ for top set. Crushed me. I guess his preflop flat just wierded me out and I deff wasnt thinking JJ.

This was my first HH post on here, but hopefully I have a lot more good ones to come.

Thanks again tho.

Looking at that board and I hear is it screaming HUGE draw to me, with a set I would have looked to try to extract everything I could from him. His weird line with the Jacks pre-flop would have caused that hand to never enter my mind and the odds that 88 was out there as well probably wouldn’t have entered in either. I would have quickly called feeling pretty good only to smack into that wall and be pretty pissed. Sick spot.
