I flopped the 2nd best hand. BB (who is a big stack) bets full pot, 2 other players calls.
There was some discussion on my Twitch stream what was the right play there. Should I just call, to keep other players in the pot?
Should I raise or go all in? If they all go for full pot bet, I’d say there is 95% chance that I will have at least 1 caller (especially one guy being the short stack)
Please note it’s a saturday bounty tournament on Pokerstars, deeper phase, so those bounties are quite big.

Easy raise, and these results illustrate why. The reason to slowplay is not to “keep people in” nor is keeping people in the primary goal when you have a strong hand. The goal is to play a big pot, and the default should be to bet or raise when you have a strong hand. The times when you would make an exception to that (slowplay) is when you have reason to believe that your opponents are not interested in their hands. Here it’s just the opposite – people are already putting money in the pot, so clearly they like their hands. Letting more cards come out is more likely to change things in bad ways for you, than in good ways. I have a whole video dedicated to slowplaying in my Getting Paid series.

Thanks Andrew for your response. I was pretty sure that’s the right play, just got concerned by the guys in the chat.
I am readjusting my game lately based also based on your Bounty $44 HH video, where you used large bet sizing, and I must admit it gives tremendous results.
