Flop top two after a mp 3bet in early stages of low stakes MTT

Hey all.

Would love your opinions on the line you would take on the flop turn river.

I had no info on either villians and it was still early goins in the MTT. I was surpised that it got checked around and then assumed any ace would bet there…..

You have a great hand and there are some straight draws on the flop…..why not get some money into the pot? Not very much good can come of slow playing a flop like this.

I guess you're saying you expected the preflop raiser to c bet. When he doesn't I think you have to bet the turn even though broadway just got there. When the SB leads out on the river you have no idea now whether he hit a straight or if hes just taking a stab an an orphan pot perhaps with a weak A.

I think this is fine. There really aren't that many hands you can get two streets of value from, and I'd be worried if the 3better were willing to put two more bets into the pot. Betting the turn wouldn't be awful, but it's nice to be able to show up with some strong hands after checking twice. Well played.

I think a turn bet would be fine, but I like Andrew's idea that it's a good idea to occasionally show up with strong hands on the river here. Nice hand.

For what it's worth, I would not be in favour of a flop lead here. It's not slowplaying to simply check it to the 3bettor, so I think the flop check is fine – you risk making it easier for villains to make some herofolds later in the hand.

Since I havent seen it suggessted, I think we can min raise river here. I dont see KKremate having a better hand then us here checking twice IP as 3 bettor. So its bascially against Vas, and I think we are ahead enough here and he will call enough to make it worth it. Logicl implies that we want him to call more than half the time to the min raise and be worse than us to turn a profit. I think msot of his range here is AJ/AQ and worse two pairs. Occasionally we may see he rivered a set here, but I still think his range is pretty weak compared to ours.

All that said, your line is fine too. I am mized as to betting turn. I think I like checking turn and bombing near pot on river the best assuming checked too.
