I flop top pr top kicker on fairly dry flop. Betting to protect against FD and betting to gain max value from weaker aces. I normally keep results hidden but this has happen to me some times b4 and it is obv a huge leak in my game where I'm barrelling all streets only to be dominated by a set. How can we avoid or can we get away here?

i would bet slightly more on the flop, like 1455 or something, and a little less on the turn.

other than that, you played it ok, just got coolered.

you could possibly check-eval river because AQ got there and to let the missed club draws try to bluff off, but i think you played it ok.

Not much you can do here, bet size doesn't matter as he is never folding no matter what you bet. You could have checked the river to save but opp. is probably betting to a check 100% since it looks like a surrender.

Just a cooler really. Don't think you are ever getting away from the hand.

I prefer to check/call river to get money from busted draw. Doubt, that A with lower kicker going to pay 3 streets, our bet on the river screams that we have AJ+, even AQ+ and better.

I really like this advice as well as check/call river like Acid said cause we probably aren't getting 3 streets from worse aces.

very strong advice. ty. if we do chk/call the river wt bet sizing can we call.  i assume we'd have to turn it loose against a shove or a  3/4 bet sizing.  very strong advice tho. hopefully i'll remember this when i run into this again.

with the stack sizes, you both have like 3/4 pot left.

kinda tough if he shoves on you, but it depends on your reads as to whether you think this is a weaker ace, set/AQ or AcXc.

better than just firing off your last chips and hoping he calls with AJ though.
