This is a 18 players SnG. Money to top 4. We are on the bubble.

My click raise is my standard at this moment in the tour. And I have been stealing a lot.

BTN has not been out of line. Except maybe for this call with a 10BB stack. His stats are 18/14 over 125 hands. This is the first time I have seen him calling a raise pre.

How do we get most value out of this?

I lead out for 1000 or so here. I think the best way to get value at this level is to play ABC poker. If he has two overs or hit caught a piece good chance you will get at least one street out of him. If he didn't, then he'll fold and move to the next one. I think trying to get clever and play crafty at the micro level trying to get value is an absolute recipe for disaster. Just lead it and see what he does, you are the OR and have the lead in the hand, make use of it 🙂

Yeah… we can c-bet about 1/3 or slightly less of his remaining stack and give him a chance to shove over the top thnking he has fold equity.

You can lead here which would be fine and thats what I would say to do if stacks were deep and you needed to build a pot to gets your chips in by the river. With this flop being so dry and with the shallow effective stacks I might just check and let him catch a piece of the board because it won't take alot to get him in on the riv if he catches a pair.I guess if he is a station or doesn't fold to cbets alot bet but if the opposite is true check.

the btn started the hand with only 10bbs, you got top set rainbow board if hes aggro i check let him hang himself.  If hes tight i lead small maybe even check flop lead turn

I am all for leading out and building a pot and getting chips in with a lock hand but here I probably check almost every time. You have top set and a super dry board so chk to him and let him bet and chk-raise or chk-call and get more chips in on the turn. No reason to bet him out here IMO. I would check the flop and if he checks back I might even check the turn and try to get chips from him that way. If the flop and turn go check check then just value bet there river and hope he catches up on the turn/river or even calls you down super light w/ A high since you showed no interest in the post post flop. in these spots i usually think of how many streets it is going to take to get villain's chips in the middle.

if it needs 3 streets then i usually bet (unless he is super aggro and i know he will bet anything)

in this case if there is any action at all, villain's money goes in on that street, so i prefer checking. i see a lot of villains shove this trying to take it away.

probably the only time I would ever slow play a huge hand.  Because we know the shortie stk will be getting it in light for sure at some point in this hand.  If he make a pair on turn or had one on flop villan is almost always getting it in.  Although if we lead he might get away from hands that might catch up slightly on turn that will be drawing almost dead to our top set.

I bet 800 and he snap folds.

I bet because I have been real activ and I though he migth see me as bluffing. I was wrong. Otherwise he would have push pre.
