Hi,

My first post here , was thinking about the way i played this hand afterwards, not sure if my call on the flop was a bit fishy, but both these players were involved in a lot of hands , they were limping almost every hand preflop.

Im pleased with the outcome , but should I have shoved on the flop?, is calling the flop bet bad? , I feel like i dont have enough chips to just raise, but can handle calling on the flop , folding to turn or river bets.

Im not in the habit of just calling, especially with such few chips…which I suppose it why this felt a bit fishy..

For tourneys where your initial stack is 1500 chips (Im assuming its the case) – 50bb, I tend to play very tight, cbet bluff less and so on, cuz a lilttle mistake and you are short.

Id just fold pre i guess.

But as you didnt id shove the flop obvs, if i dont hit, just start a new tourney…

I might call sometimes here pre flop hoping to hit some miracle cards, but your proably better off just folding pre flop so early in the tourney. Get your self a nice tight image so you can run over the table a bit when the blinds are bigger.

I'm also normally going to fold to a pot sized bet on the flop with a flush draw unless atleast 2 more people have called it before me. It costs you 260 for a 520 pot so thats 50% of the pot your paying and you only have around 25% chance to make your flush on the next card, it would be 50% but thats with the turn and river card together and he's proably going to make you pay for the 2nd card too.

A shove is proably better than the call as you have the chance of them folding and you get your 50% chance of hitting your hand too.

NIT!!! 😀

i would be raising this flop and getting it in. you have 12 outs against most of villain's range, which puts you at around 40%. inho the key to playing flush draws is taking advantage of the dead money when they fold after your raise, so i would be shoving the flop.

You hold a suited ace on the button, have 30+bb and 4 limpers ahead of you. In this situation you have to get involved. I would advocate always limping this in behind. Especially early in a tourney and at small stakes where your implied odds are massive. Those opponents are just waiting to stack off with top pair no kicker.

This is one of the flops you were waiting for, trouble is your fold equity is minimal if you shove IMO. I don’t mind calling the flop bet since your getting paid by at least one opponent when you hit. If it was heads up on the flop I would shove prob but I like how u played it in this situation.
