hey
Reads – v is a reg not sure if he's a winning player or losing one
ingame v wrote in the chat box i have a set/two pair or AJ and folded there hand. I decided to show my hand then he started to rage
and said im a fish lol , which i found very weird.
I dont think its a fishy play to raise turn here …anyhow i'm pretty much trying to get him to fold AK/AQ/AJ if he hase those or maybe KQ/KJ
if called i'd probably shove river as i'm pretty sure if v had a strong hand he would likely gii on the turn anyhow.
just wondering if my play is okay? ooo and btw not only do we have a BDFD we have a inside straight draw otf.

Are you seriously questioning your play because some random clown in a tournament whose entry fee includes a decimal point called you a fish? It sounds like he made a really exploitable fold on the assumption that you won't bluff often enough here, and if you have to ask about whether you should be bluffing with the single best bluffing hand, then he's probably right. There are only three reasons I can think why you maybe shouldn't raise this:
1. I guess if Villain mostly 3b or fold then you'd be better off calling this hand and raising KJ/KT without a flush draw, but nobody really plays that way.
2. The board is dry enough and your own range is slightly capped so maybe you could make the argument that you just shouldn't have a raising range at all on the turn, but if you do then this clearly belongs in it.
3. You have a read that Villain is loose/passive or otherwise just folding so rarely in this spot that even with a lot of equity you still can't bluff (it's a 0 spot).

He's been on many of my tables before actually and i've only just remembered he hardly ever limps so he's not loose passive. I think he's more of a recrational player.
I must say though i dont really rep much by raising turn , unlikely i have AA/QQ as i'll very likely 3-bet that pre as for AQ i'd likely raise this on the flop to get value from Ax and draws. so when i raise turn the only hand that makes sense will be 66/88 but that's only a small part of my range.
Andrew i don't think my raise is bad ott i'd consider this a number 2 spot, I have a extremly good bluffing candiate for raising turn. I'd probably play a hand like 66/88 this way as well. Though i may raise 66 on the flop so yeah again i dont rep much really but i also think villian will be capping there range if they decide to call my raise on the turn , agreed?
