First HH post...........just 10% of the field left in a 1200 runner on Stars

Should I be getting it all in here or wait for a better spot. There were about 100 left out of 1200 runners. Sorry if i missed something on this post its the first one ive ever done

If you watch dannyn13's vids he talks about how much more important it is to be the 1st one to shove (hand irrelevant) than it is to reshove with no FE with a hand like A4 KJo

That said – we do only have 2 more hands left before the blinds hit us so yeah i'd prob get it in obv not being very happy about it though

It's +EV only if the opener is active. Otherwise you're shoving an often dominated hand with no fold equity.

With an UTG raise I would lay this down and push at first opportunity, when first in or after 1 or 2 limpers with any pair, any ace, any broadway and some connectors.

i have found an app for this called poker push bot and it makes my shove very marginal. According to that if I shove ( obviously if I had been first in) with my hand the callers range needs to be top 5% if its 7.5% it says its a fold. As a newb I just want an app like this to be accurate so I dont make any silly mistakes with my shoves or lack of shoves. If anyone else has tried it please let me know and thanks again for all your replies. I love this site it really is a fantasic help to someone re learning the game

Unless you have a history with the villain and have seen him open light, this is a fold IMO. We have no fold equity on the 3 bet and in most cases will be dominated. Now being suited may make me think about it. At best we will want the villain to turn over middle pairs in which we are flipping. Sometimes I think 3 bet shoving with middle suited connectors will be better than kjo, bc I think we have more equity when up against broadway hands.
