Raise pre get two callers. Make STD cbet. SB floats. My plan on turn which I hated the suit of it was to make one more scary bet on the card that could very well be in my raising range. Was this an OK way of thinking? Or should I just let it go with the 66's.

I'm not really sure about second barrel here, I guess it will depend mostly of our opponent and his tendencies to float oop or his ability to lay down hand like QT in this spot…

I will try to point out some another things here…

First of all we have almost no equity against his made hands, and we are probably fliping against his draws, so overall we are in very bad shape and we are turning our hand, that could have some value as bluff catcher, in bluff. I would more like a hand with some outs (Kc, or Qc or some kind of str8 draw) for barreling here… Also we are in position…

Second, how would u play this turn with a hand like AQ without a club? Would u pot control here being scared of flush or would u continue to fire for value or showdown? Also would u check behind to try and trap with made flush?  If u don't bet here with AQ type of hand, then your bet here make no sense and observant opponent would try to exploit that…

And finally our stack size…  On turn we have about 17.5k or almost 30bb left behind… It's a pretty workable stack size regarding light opening and 3 beting in order to steal blinds… On the other side if we bet turn and get called we will be down to 12k or 20bb, stack size that puts us in a very bad spot, no more stealing light, we pretty much must wait for value hand that we would go broke with…

So I guess I would shutdown on turn hoping that river goes check/check…

Really ugly turn card, hits the flush and any A high float, not to mention you may have been behind on the flop. I shut down and wait for a better spot, you still have plenty of chips to move around for a bit.

Petarlazovic puts it well together.

Maybe if turn check-check you can call a small bet on the river. But anything bigger fold.

As played just fold and find a better spot.

I'm not sure I like the pf raise except as a steal attempt in position. What is your plan pf if a 6 doesn't hit on the flop?

With ~30-35bbs you don't have a lot of room for post flop play and you have put almost half your stack in the pot by the turn.  I prob would have checked down all the way and tried to get a cheap show down.

I am playing the 6s preflop strickly as a steal attemp, in my mind I am thinking either hit a set or represent say AK on the flop.  As flopped it sucks for AK (or any other logical pf raising hand except a big pair) so I probably just give it up by checking/folding, you are not deep enough to put a lot of money into the pot with air.
