At first I thought this was a pretty standard shove by me, but after thinking about it I wanted to get some opinions.  We are deep in the 2k guarantee turbo at the final two tables

Is this a standard call in this spot?  What I started thinking about was the fact I was calling off around 30% of my stack with Q8s.  Is this +EV in the long run?

If I was in the BB I would call all day. With the BB still to act with 10 bbs behind, not sure it is necessary. If he has been super agg than its fine to iso and be way ahead of any two cards. I would go by feel on how btn has been playing and if I think BB would call off even with an iso with hands like A5.

Would you shove q8s bvb for 10 bbs? I would so it doesn't change the fact that bb is still behind. If anything it tightens his calling range with 2 players as opposed to 1. Buttons shoving range is like any two cards into those stacks because he has to shove and stay alive in the tourney with only 2 players behind. q8s vs his range plays out really well and even if you lose you still have over 13 bbs and plenty of fold equity to find a shove spot next orbit or the one after.
