Hey Guys,

Final tabled the $11 40k guarantee last night..

Just wondered what people's thoughts were on this hand which is the one I busted.. Basically we were pretty short with 10bb..

Anyone object to this shove? Reasons Why?

My reasoning for shoving was that due to the stack sizes on our left, it was going to be hard to blind down to 7-8bb once the blinds hit us & have much FE so we took a stance with this hand from MP to hopefully give us another round & find another spot.

Feedback greatly appreciated here as it was the FT & maybe that effects the shove range because of ICM etc.

I don't mind a shove here. Though I woulda probably wait a round and hope to pick up a hand or shove on MP2 or 3 bet shove alot of Ax K9+ or poket pairs or the BB SB.

I would def fold K9o in MP. You still have too many players left to act behind you with a weak hand. I would rather wait for a better hand to shove like SC's, K10s+, KJ+, A8s+, A9o+, PP's.

If you have to go through the blinds you'll be left w 8bb, but with everyone being quite shallow it still gives you FE.

So I say wait for a better spot.

I don't like this at all. There are potentially 6 open shove stacks at the table. A lot can happen in one orbit, and it really won't kill you.

This is particularly the case because it is the final table. That's the most important thing to consider, IMO.

Don't get impatient or think you need to shove just because it folds to you and you have a king.

All you need is a chip and a chair.
