We are down to the final 3 in last night's Bovada $3k.  The blinds are 2500/5000/??? and the stack sizes are SB 240k, me in BB 112k, and the button at 53k.

SB card racked and ran up the lead in the last 5 minutes.  Since then, he has been limping from Button and SB.  This time, the button limps (proably reacting to this) and the SB completes.  I check 5dKc.

Flop is 2sQc3c.  Not great and SB checks, so I check and Button checks.

Turn is the 4c.  Not bad as I now have OESD and flush draws, maybe a K on the river wins the hand also.

SB bets 5k, I call 5k and Button shoves 47k into the $25k pot.  I had 112k to start hand, SB has $240k…

I am completely unable to put him on a strong hand as played and it actually looks like a draw.  I have (at max) 4 ace outs, 4 “six” outs, 7 other clubs, and possibly 3 other kings for 18 outs.

In the moment, this seems like a very difficult position because I am expecting he may have a big club or a Queen…  But with the Q it seems silly to overbet the pot here.  So I put him on a similar draw to mine…  Is this a must fold or is there room for a call?

Personally I wouldn't have played the hand so passively. I would bet about half the time on the flop as they are clearly weak players if limping like this so you can easily tell if they have a hand on how they react to the flop bet. On the turn I like a raise, especially if payjumps are small, but either way I would raise the turn.

As played its a fold imo. You have plenty of chips and can outplay your opponents, not call off and hope to hit.

I don't think he's on a draw, or if he is it's a pair+draw.  This feels like a protection spot, like maybe a set or a straight.  You probably don't have 18 outs.  On the other hand unless he has exactly the a flush you have decent equity against his range.  And if you call and lose you'll still have a little over 10bb which isn't the end of the world, especially if they are going to be doing a lot of limping 3 way.

Personally I'd fold cause I think I have a good handle on how the typicaly Bovada players play and with 20ish bb I like my chances.  But I can see a case for calling too.  I'd be really curious to find out what the hand history shows he had.  I find that even though it doesn't make any sense you'll see ofter in similair spots they have the stone cold nuts.

When someone bets like 1/4 pot and you have a massive draw you should probably raise. As played, it’s probably fold but I think you should look at your equity vs his range before deciding that. Good to know how much of an edge you’re considering passing up.
