So I dont really think that I played the hand all that poorly (or all that well).  Best way to describe it is I'm really uncertain if turn and river plays are bad.

We all just recently moved to the final table and only had like 15 hands on this guy, so no real reads.

Most interested in what you guys do on turn and river as I think preflop and flop are obviously really really standard.

My first instinct is that I should always be betting turn.  Really not sure if betting river or checking is better.

Im betting turn almost 100% of the time
Trying to get value from all Ax hands in his
Range.
If he had a heart draw and got there, i think
He will let us know on the turn.

Side note: im not always totally opposed to getting
Tricky against very agg players, but with no reads
On villian, think we should be building a pot in this spot.

Yeah, im with kingten on betting this turn. If he calls turn I’m not bluffing the flush on the river tho.

agree with the above, i am def betting turn for value, then prolly checking back river.

as played checking back river is also good just becasue nothing worse will ever call, and most weak flushes will still probably call.

The only real reason to ck behind on the turn is if you think villain will bluff the river if you look like you're scared of the flush. Without reads I think you need to bet the turn. Either way you have to much showdown value to turn your hand into a bluff on the river.

Yeah, I think I bet turn for value.  I think that if he has a fd (and his stack size pre), villain will c/r flop imo prepared to get it in.  If villain c/r our  turn bet can reevaluate and proceed knowing that you have outs to pair the board on river.

Agree with all above. Also, I think betting the turn takes it down a decent amount of the time. And even if villain has a heart in his hand, a turn bet puts Ah/Kh into your range which may convince him that calling to see a river heart is not worth it.

thanks guys.  def felt like the turn was a missed value spot.  he had A7 fwiw so think i def could have gotten a little more value on turn.  live and learn!
