Hand Convertor isnt working for some reason.

45man $6 SnG. Final Table

I am short stack with 8bb.  Villian is 2nd in chips and hasnt been out of line however opening regularly (between he and the chip leader on my left).  Blinds are 300/660 with Antes of 50.

SB – 19,648 M=18.2 BB=33
BB (Hero) – 4,346 M=4.5 BB=8
UTG (Villian) – 10,276 M=9.4 BB=17
BUTTON – 5,130 M=4.7 BB=9

UTG raises to 1,350,
Button folds,
SB folds,
Hero holds 3c3s and ?

Thanks,
Fly

8bb = any pair to the middle…you CAN'T fold that…..especially if villain is opening a lot…

Your 4/4 at the final table with 8 BBs.  Based on villians tendencies I don't see any option than pushing and either seeing  villian  a) fold or b) call and you winning the (likely) flip.  If you are dominated by a bigger pair and don't improve, good game – 4/45 is nothing to sneeze at.

Basicly a reshove. But sometimes I prefer folding such marginal spots if the pl arent calling light when they didnt opened. That means openshoving a wide range in the next three hands. But thats only a variation based on reads, stats and so on. Sometimes this works better vs raise nits.

I prefer to play this spot a little differently than most and I don't think re-shoving here is -EV at all.

However, because of the stack sizing at the table, i.e. you have another short stack in a very similiar situation to you, I prefer folding here and applying pressure to the smaller stacks at the table in the next orbit and throughout my short stack life.  If you make the re-shove you have no FE and are most likely flipping.  On the other hand, if you are shoving on the smaller stacks, you have FE, you will most likely be a 60/40 favorite, flipping or 40/60 dog.  With the FE against 2 of the opposing stacks, I much rather prefer getting my chips in the middle when I'm applying pressure than choosing to take a flip.

Something to think about smile

This isn't a home run call but I probably take the spot.  You need to keep in mind that this is a 45man SNG and we will have some ICM implications so we should not be so quick to call and race off our chips.  The main reason I would take the spot is because being pitted between two active players you are not going to get many or any spots to open shove yourself. I think we have zero fold equity here so if villain is opening 50% of hands the call will be about breakeven mEV
