Hi, I was playing earlier today in a 4$ 180 man sng on stars and i got to 4 man final table, i had about 85k in chips with the chip leader at about 100, the next stack was 65k followed by about 22k,

Blinds are 1.5/3k

im on the small blind with JJ against bigstack in the BB everyone else folds.

I raise to 3xBB and bigstack after 30-40 seconds shoves all in.

Keep in mind hes been doing that the entire tournament and I would say was by war the weakest player at the table, it was the only move he had.

I called and lost to AK with A on the river.

I put him on ak-a10 or lower pocket pairs than mine. So i called.

was it a bad call just wondering, I dont think so considering I was confident I was ahead but i could have easily held out for 3rd or 2nd place finish. But i would like to think i would have won the tournament if i had won that hand.

your thoughts please.

Without going into ICM which isnt my strong point, I would advocate gambling in this spot if you perceive the opposition to be better than you. Given that it’s a $4 180 and your a TPE member I would assume your likely much better than the other guys at your table. You do have 28bb it would be an easier call if you had less or the other 2 had more than you.

It’s not easy to fold JJ 4 handed but it’s the super fishy guy that needs to gamble not you. Just pull them to pieces one hand at a time one pot at a time. With just shy of 30 blinds you’ll probably get a few easier less variance opportunities to take his chips.
