Btn seems fairly tight but has started to open more in last few laps.
He has raised same amount last two laps on button.
BB is straightforward reg.
My image is clean/maybe even a bit nitty so far at final table.

3bet to 12500 and either call/fold a 4bet depending on stats. Cbet get it in on a lot of flops and turns. Cbet fold on the worst ones.

love sizing,  100% 3 bet and calling like 95% of the time tbh.  In the higher buy ins, i would never be 3 bet folding here as the 4 bets are the norm.  In a 20, if someone was super nitty we could find a fold. n

3 bet folding aj from B open with 25 bigs seems insane, but there are times where we can nit fold.  Just make sure you dont tell anyone!  😉

i dont really like 3betting unless he is going to be getting it in with a ton worse, even if he folds 80% of the time its a waste to do it with this hand as we should really protect our equity by flatting. and 3bet a more polarised range.

if he gets in like A7s A8o+ then 3b/call is great. dont like 3betting to fold with AJ here. if he is super flat happy i still lean towards flatting since, its a ft and we have a healthy stack and dont want to get into awkward spots just yet.

so yea i flat

Flatting keeps the pot small OOP, but still puts you in an awkward spot on alot of flops. AJ is well ahead of his range here and it feels wrong to flat here, and check/fold most of the time when we miss. But floating when we miss puts us right back in the same awkward spot we were trying to aviod. I prefer a three bet, but if we do go with flat, are we giving up unless we flop an A, J, or some sort of decent draw?

being ahead of his range doesnt matter if we allow him to play perfectly v us. 3b/c without dynamics seems optimistic

I think calling is horrible. 3 bet call seems reasonable as long as BB folds (obv) calling oop puts u in a tough spot if u flop an ace u are kind of flying blind, maybe a go and go if he calls but with his stack a call pre is unlikely.

after thinking this over i have to go into the 3b/c camp. I can see his 4b shoving range as a lot wider than AJ as he could be putting us on a wide range based on position dynamics. lots of broadway hands, small pairs, maybe even some sc's (bit of a stretch?) i think. You said he had been playing tight but had started to open up recently? and this is his 3rd btn raise in a row? Yeah im going with 3b call here smile
