..sitting at the final table of the 55 $ rebuy. 8 players left and I am sitting in the SB with 18 bbs and K10s. The buttons opens…what would you do??!!

(there are 2 players at the table with less chips then me with like 12 and 16bbs and the button has my and the BB covered)

I m sure that it is plus EV to shove but with ICM considerations would you guys shove or fold??

these stakes are way above my own, but i would say that it 100% depends on the BB – what sort of stack they have – if they have  60bb then they will be calling a lot wider than if they have 21bb.

really really need more info here

villains VPIP, steal%, raise size and any reads from this sizing ie min raise or 3.5x raise?

possibly even his call 3bet %

ante sizes (as larger antes as a % of pot can make our shove more +ve EV)

payout jumps

Also – what are the stack sizes of the 2 people directly to your left and specifically their fold to steal %. This would give us a better idea of future steal opportunities to maintain a stack until others bust.

I know it's a lot but man if i EVER make a FT of 55 rebuy im taking as much time as i can to evaluate these things before i make a move. Then again, by the time i get that good i'll probably be treating these spots like i do $6 45 man FT'ssmile

I think it's super important to gauge how you are percieved by the button. Have you 3 bet shoved recently before this spot? His exact stack size will  also be helpfull here.

And, as mentioned, how often has he been opening in lp?

Also, did u have a chance to db him – is he a winning reg at these stakes? Alot of them are calling wider than ever here, even if you think u have gd fe.

I don't think u have to worry about bb. He should be folding app 97% unless you have a read on him to suggest otherwise.

yeah need more info here on Villain and BB to really make a decision, but in a vaccuum I kind of like a jam here.  Good oppty to give yourself a much more workable stack.  and if you are behind, just get there  🙂

the problem was that my internet was gone from the point on when we were down to 10 players. so i have 0 infos and just came back after sitting out!! it s the first hand.

which would even more lead me to the shove since the button might thought im still sitting out. so if i would be him…im opening any 2 right there!!

(he had AA 😉
