Yesterday was my first day on the site and had a couple decent runs in MTT's that came up a bit short. That is the main reason I joined TPE was to “close the deal” more! I was in the $4.40-3k on stars, 1263 runners and we were down to about 54 players.

My thoughts when playing the hand: When I picked this hand up and the guy in EP min raised, I smelled weakness. I was wanting to 3bet the guy with the intention of going the distance with him if he 4bet jammed me. (That was my mental plan.) Looking back on my 3bet sizing, I feel I was rather weak in the amount. After much thought about my read on the initial raiser, I feel like with my stack I should have jammed over the top preflop instead of 3betting.

So would a jam have been a more +EV play here with my hand? What should have been a 3betting size bet hear?
