This was a really tough decision, I'd been owning the table for the last few orbits getting away with steals, 3bets. Most of the table have around 10BB left.

I'm not sure if this was a mistake or not I think its pretty close. In any case it put me on tilt and next orbit I was out.

A few hands later, I thought this was a great resteal spot, I'm 99% the opener is folding but perhaps I should have considered my position also.

Reshoving AQs there looks super standard to me.

Given the dynamic, I would think he might think your on tilt and call lighter like AJs+ obv but I think some small pps might shove up in his range too like 66+ and maybe some smaller suited aces.

Poker stove it and see what your equity is…regardless it’s a huge mine field gonna have to risk it to get the biscuit lol.

AQ hand looks fine and with 1/3 of your stack in if you call then a shove is best. There is only one stack behind you that can hurt you and if he wakes up with better than AQ so be it. You got unlucky here with UTG having as strong as AK in this spot so no need to tilt. Right play, wrong time. Plenty of times he will show up with QJs, KQ, AQ, AJ, AT, you get the drift.

Second hand is a different kettle of fish. I personally think it is a fold. Think about it. You have an early position raiser with a touch < 20bbs so what so you range him as? Personally, I always feel like these raises are more likely strong than not and he will not be folding 99% of the time. I suspect he would only fold hands like 88 or less and maybe AJ or less but his raising range is likely to be 77+, AT+, KQ+ and not much more as he has no implied odds to raise with speculative hands. This means he is calling a huge % and when he does call we are crushed by 99-AA and flip versus say AJ+.

On top of that you need to add into the mix the fact that you have 7 players still to act behind and if one of them decides to play then you will be crushed the vast majority. I think 15bbs is a workable stack and I would rather be jamming in late position with marginal hands than 3b all-in v UTG raiser and the whole table behind with mid-pairs.

yeah that jam with 88 was a bad spot. Still not sure UTG is calling very wide here but then again he might given I've 3bet him a few times forcing folds and flipped with him AKo vs AQs. I was a little surprised when the supernova to my left overcalled with TT. I made a few really bad decisions after that flip with AQs. I really should have tightened up, rebuilt my image and waited for better spots.
