What are this players stats? I see this more and more with medium to high pairs from guys who are scared to play post flop. So depending on your read with this guy I think a shove or a fold would be fine. If you think he ever folds to a 3bet then do it. If he calls then you are a flip with TT or JJ. Just my thoughts. Though stats are important, like how many pots is he playing and whats his fold % to 3bets. GLGL

Depending on what his stats are and previous button raises he could be trying to steal here. Some players like to shove but if he is holding a strong hand he may want you to come over the top or he could be attempting the steal with a weaker hand and does not want to shove for the steal, easier to get away if you jam.  Without a read I can't give you a solid answer, from a mathematical point of view your hand is good against most button raise ranges.

These situations are typically trap type situations for me, but require a significant read to know what range I can trap with. A lot of times this is 77-JJ type hands that are trying to look big (after all how often does AA or KK want to scare you away), but there are a lot of players that think this is getting value as tons of low/micro stake players like to see flops so they get called and this behavior gets re-enforced. With no information I am folding everything short of QQ+, AK. I think I fold AQo out of position here and look for a better spot. It may seem nitty, but without a read I just don't want to get mixed up here expensively.

im never giving him credit for having us crushed here cuz like les said nobodys tryn to chase the remaining two players left away w qq+ on the BTN. I think he more like than likely shows up w Axs, 22-99, and random broadway crap. plus 3 bet shoving over a 5x open looks uber strong. for the most part we crush his range or are flippin against it IMO. I shove this everytime w a cool and a full fist pump.
