No hh as this was played on wsop software in NV; final table of $10 rebuy, 8 places paid and we’re 4 handed. payouts are .31,.21,.13,.1,.085,.065,.055,.045 (% of prizepool)
co: 63,000
but: 374,000
sb: 168,000
bb (HERO) 172,000 dealt Th7s
Co goes all in, and it folds to me.
Punching hand in holdem resources nash calc has co pushing 25.2% and me calling 80.1%, 22+ Kx+ Q2s+ Q3o+ J2s+ J5o+ T2s+ T6o+ 92s+ 95o+ 82s+ 85o+ 72s+ 74o+ 62s+ 64o+ 52s+ 53o+ 42s+ 32s
My question is, is it worth calling here and crippling our future options (i.e. I will have very little f.e. in the next few hands if I call and lose being down to about 5-5.5bb) on such a thin call?

Thanks for the post! I’m a 180 man grinder so I heavily use ICM . But I find myself really using my hud in spots like this. If I find this villain is shoving wide or is playing tight, this would make my decision.

good job on doing the work mostly yourself instead of just asking the standard questionif i am doing this stuff i look at nash, then i look at the tightes possible range and the loosest possible range.
if its still +$EV against the tight range i would call.
as T7o is already at the bottom of the Nash calling range i tend towards folding.
In general people in the low stakes are shoving way to tight.
well said!
