Wondering on the correct play in a scenario that happened in a home game tourney.

Blinds 50/100.  The three players involved had roughly the same stack sizes around 12k

The cut off opens to 300

The button 3 bets to 1000

Small blind folds and exposes a King

I'm in the big blind and look down at 2 Kings.

I was a little confused on what to do. Call or raise or maybe even fold.

I decided to 4 bet to 2500 thinking I want to isolate and not wanting to play against 2 players

with a case King left in the deck.

The plan was that I would still call a shove from one player but fold if both shoved. Thinking that my 2 Kings are still ahead of their ranges.

Not that it matters but they both called and believe it or not I hit my case King on the flop. I led out, the board from memory was pretty wet

and they both folded.

So, was my strategy correct? wrong? Any other comments greatly appreciated.

I dont think the K being exposed really impacts your play that much.  I would raise pre primarily because the 3 bettor seems to like his hand, and expecially in a home game will get it in much worse than KK here.

interesting problem. im not sure it matters that the king is exposed in terms of your own hand, but the only thing to take into account is that it means that people pretty much dont have AK now, so its down to pocket pairs and AQ. it also means that you could get some interesting dynamics because they know you can't have KK or AK that often, so even if a K comes out they might stick around with something like QQ.

just as a cursory analysis, i decided to give the other two guys top 5% ranges

actually makes more of a difference than i thought it would, probably because they have AK less often (and hence have AA more often), but it's still a great spot for you.
