Do you have any reads on the people still to act after you? Are they mostly passive or has there been alot of 3-betting.

For myself if it has been passive I would probably call and set mine if it has been more aggro at the table I would be more likely to fold with the occasional call and fold to 3-bet.

that early in the tourney i'd mostly set mine here

most of the time i'd fold to a 3b but if a looser player in lp 3bs i have sometimes no problem to shove and gamble that early in the tourney.

table was semi active, not passive.

The problem i had with calling is that theres still 6 players to act and im only getting 12.5/1 implied odds

Calling and set mining this early. No reason to 3bet really. You dont know your implied odds at this point cuz you dont know what others are gonna do in the hand yet and your implied odds are what you can potentially win overall.

i'd flat too.. if someone squeezes then just let it go

i know we havent quite got 15:1 implied but given that its a $4 tourney and the raiser is in EP i think we can bend the rules a slight bit knowing that he'll stack off more when we hit

Call… Doesn't 100% have to be a set mine. If you flop an open ender or dry low board I would probably challenge a cbet as well. If he 3bets you know he is strong and you can fold.
