11th hand so no real stats

Villian had already limped once from CO, previous play indicated he is a fish

thoughts on turn check and river fold?

As played riv fold is best for sure. I would prob put another 1/3 to 1/2 pot bet on the turn and bet/fold if he raises turn, depending on how big.

I would play PF and flop the same but would bet turn again for half pot.

As played I know the river bet is pretty big but im still calling the river, the range I put an unknown this deep is pretty wide and K's although are there with a number of combos, are certainly the minority.

The fact he hasnt only played 1 from 11 and is UTG doesnt narrow that range a bit? is checking turn and firing on blanks a bad line? I just see the J as a hand that helps his range alot and doesnt help ours.

vs a fish i'd barrell the turn again for value vs all his weak A's, KQ,KT,QJ,JT

when we check behind the turn it looks kinda weak/pot control/showdown (which is our intention a lot of the time) so it does feel yuck giving up when he fires

but i'd sigh fold as you did and use those 1,000 chips to work vs him and other fish later on

It looks like he lost 500 chips to UTG+2 on a previous hand, any details on that hand?

Does he really pot size bet for value on the river? Or does he figure it’s a chop if you call if he has an Ace, since only AQ beat him. I think there are so many non-king hands in his range that I would call.

previous hand he lost chips on was from mid position orbit before, limp/called a late position raise, donk/folded flop half/pot bet
