I think flatting pre is fine, though a case could certainly be made to jam because you are OOP.

On the flop, a donk lead looks weak, which may be why you get raised. Then again, if i am donking this foop, I am HOPING to get raised with the intention of jamming. I doubt he is raising here as a bluff, so it seems he got a piece of the flop.

With the pre flop action, V’s hand range is heavily weighted towards the nuts. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him flip over a set, though AQ and AK are possible. KQs also in his range, but not as likely, considering the 4bet.

I am leaning toward QQ.

In the heat of the moment, I am probably jamming here, but the better move is probably to lay this down.

jam pre, honestly calling a 4bet leaves 830 in the pot and 1100 behind, its much better just to jam and never have to cut our stack in half by folding

@shortstackjack: folding would indeed have been a good move.

@ both: I jammed and villain had AA. My question is: should his 4-bet not warn me pre? It narrows his range a lot: AK, AA, KK, QQ, maybe AQ or KQ and I’m only doing good against the latter two and I would be flipping against QQ. Against all other I’m in bad shape. Would a fold to his 4-bet be too nitty? I did 3-bet and should have a nitty image at the table, viewing it’s in the early stages and I play only premiums then. I had not played many hands.

Thanx for the input both, and greetz,

Fil

Becuasue it is so early and we are so deep I just flat the initial raise pre.

Kinda worried after the 4bet when its this earlier and we are probably readless and I dont think there is anything wrong with folding to the 4bet as I feel is range is weighted toward QQ and AK+,if he just a random.

but its either jam or fold pre.
