Hey
No reads.
This hand was just unbelievable , like what the f*** is villian really trying to represent here? Villians line does not many sense
not 1 bit!
when v checks back otf , it was pretty easy to say that they don't have monsters in their range. All the sudden they decide to raise turn and bet big otr.
would they do this with 33/77/TT? unlikely IMO , what about JJ/QQ/KK/AA , again unlikely. villian would very likely bet those otf , checking back would just not make any sense unless they are just terrible
, also im not sure if villian has 3-bet pre with those hands like 33/77/TT i guess we cant rule it out as u do get bad players that just dont know what they are doing.
I decided to bet turn , to get value from AK/AQs , not sure if they're 3-betting AJs though.
otr they bet like 3 quarters of the pot.
thoughts?
cheers.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the villain turn over a set here. The min raise pre-flop suggests he is far from a brilliant player, and while slow playing a set would be a mistake here, it is consistent with a weaker player and I imagine that is what he has done. In my experience this type of player likes to feel that they have 'won' and trapped you, and aren't thinking about the missed chips. So I'm expecting TT/77/33 a lot as they are the sorts of hands weak players like to raise pre-flop (I have a pair!!). Either that or a 55 which gave up on the flop and is now going for value on the turn.
