Really don't know why FT hh's are not working in the converter lately

No reads before this hand. His flat of the tiny flop bet then the call to my raise definitely pointed to a bad player, but I don't know what type of bad player yet. Does he float flop and turn and fold river? Does he call to the end with any pair? Does he slow play big hands?

Do I have to bet this river in this spot? And should I be planning whether to fire the last bullet, if my flush doesn't hit, when I raise?

Its early and there is no need imo to run a big bluff. Check behind on the turn and take the free card.  The J on the turn doesnt change anything if he calls flop he is probably calling turn. As played check behind onthe river you have some show down value now, if you bet you only get called by hands that beat you.
