standart play is to check here the turn, but this time I felt the pot is to large to give it up.

did he check turn? i think i just check behind if he checked and hope to get to showdown free/river him.  if he bet turn then i just fold.  I think there are a bunch of Q’s in his range, but we still have enough showdown value that betting the turn isn’t great imo.

yeah i’d check behind too…we’re too shallow i think to double barrel here.

 

What do we do if he leads river…fold right?

i think so. there aren’t enough draws for him to miss to bluff catch AK high imo

fail at reading again. thought you and villain had similar stacks.

 

i mean whether or not to shove the turn depends entirely on villains range. is he the type to limp/call 66-TT and c/c this flop? if so then i think jamming the turn is fine.

 

but if he’s a giant station who isn’t folding those hands and has like KQ/QJ/QT etc then i think i’d just check back and get to showdown
