Not many hands on villain but seems like a badreg type.
I thought this was a really bad flop for my hand vs his range. Could I have continued to play passively on the turn and just try to get to a cheap showdown?

Obviously, it depends on Villain’s range here. If it is just mostly 99-QQ, then this is a dangerous RIO odds spot for you. But, if he has stuff like AK,AQs, etc this is a good flop for you. Not every flop is going to be 522 for your AA.
With an SPR of just 3, I’d bet flop/jam the turn…As played, I’d just fold the river. We have 25 combos of hands that are better, even if we are never 3 betting broadway suited combos..
