Villain is 40/16 and has been v aggro on rivers on past hands.

Feel like I should have checked behind on turn as I'm mainly putting him on an fd, possibly with weak pair, but my thinking was that after he's checked river I can get away with shove, its just the ratio of bet to pot gives him great odds.  Hence should check turn so its2/3 pot sized shove when river comes without a diamond.

Then again I dont think I'm 3 barrel bluffing hear too often, so my line looks preety strong, agreed?

Your play is extremely spewy. You should not be opening that in early blinds UTG, especially not at this stake. Then you are 3barreling on an extremely wet board against a villain who u can not possibly put on a range at this point. You can’t bluff a huge stack very often either when u only have 1/4 his chips. At that stake, wait for premiums and u will get paid off.

Those villain stats usually mean he's a total station so bluffing in general is a bad idea – you also don't have enough left in the flip to fire the river. If he calls two bullets he should be calling three close to 100% of the time there.
