Let's just ignore the flat here pre out of position. I had been playing pots with this guy and also watching his other pots. There were alot of pots he is in before this hand. Now on to the problem at hand. Should we donk this and hope for a reraise here? Or check/raise the continuation bet?

what is your plan there when you don't flop so hard…….I know you said ignore the flat pre….but I think that is going to lead to some really spewy postflop play on our part when we miss because we (at least I) are probably going to be taking a stab at the pot…….and that is going to commit us to the hand……so therefore our stab is probably best if it is a shove…..and that sucks when our oppent catches a piece and calls us and we basically end up just punting our stack
as played read check/call if we are confident he is cbetting——then shove turn I would think.
im all for flatting in spots where the price is just SO good. i think i flat a lot more than your average player in spots like this whre someone has raised really small PF and im in the blinds, or also i'll flat small 3bets pretty wide esp in position.
my problem here is how shallow you are. you barely have over 20BB, and so it's just going to be really hard to have any sort of manueverability postflop when you miss. and you need to have that room in spots like this where in order to profitably flat you have to be willing to make some moves post and try and win the pot w/o showdown. with just over 20BB it's going to be hard for you to win this pot without flopping a pair or draw.
so i know you don't want to discuss PF, and if you had even 25BB i'd like it a lot more and at 30BB+ i think it's totally fine, but here i find it hard to believe you're making money with the flat.
as played, checking and calling the flop is best and i don't think it's really all that close. i'd then check the turn and call again, and even if he checks back i think i like checking the river too.

Very nice reply in terms of both pre-flop and post-flop advice.
It's definitely a fold pre in this spot in terms of being “correct” so hopefully you're not doing this a lot or else it's a leak in your game to plug, OP.
This is definitely a board where he's going to fold to any aggression unless he has a queen with a better kicker or doesn't know how to fold KK and AA.
Check call the flop and also check the Turn. If he checks back the Turn I think you should bet like 1/4 to 1/3 pot on the river since he may check behind again but call a bet with a hand like 66, 88, 99.
Unsure. Basically we hit gin here but nothing *should* pay us off which is why it's often better to fold in spots like this. If you hit your 7 you're OOP and can never be too confident. If you hit a flush draw you're playing for your stack, etc. etc.
