Was wondering if anyone finds a difference in quality of players in tourneys (low-midstakes) at various times in the day? Do you find you have better success making FT's at tournies that start say around midnight or ones that start in the early mornings, etc… I realize that not everyone is on the same time zone, but I was curious if anyone experimented with it. I usually see the reg. mtt'ers register for tournies late afternoon and up. Just curious if anyone notices a difference or not.
Depends on what you play. the MTTs at night will generally have tougher fields than during the day if you live in America. The recreational European players are playing during that 12:00-17:00, and they are generally weaker at poker than the recreational American player that starts playing in the evening.
The 100r during the afternoon on Stars is sufficiently easier than the 100r at night. There's a reason for that.

I usually play a couple of games when I get home from work 0030 MTN, I find the gurantee $ to have smaller fields and softer players. “Rush Poker” on FT is a gold mine for bankroll builders, at least in the micro to low stakes.
