Do we value bet our J for value on the turn and then our rivered Q high flush for value

As reads in the title, are we betting the turn for value?

With the paired board are we betting the riv for value or are we only getting called by bigger flushes/houses?

seems fine to me – people never put you on runner runner flush. if the flop had the 3s adn the turn was the 3h, this could change the hand entirely, but i think you played it fine. interested to see what other people think.

Seems very standard. No reason to believe we don't have the best hand at any point here.

i'd play it pretty much the same. i 'm definetly betting for value here. strange line with the pfr and then checking all streets, but with his cc on the turn i'm sure he is somehow connected and so i think we have to go for value. i cant see any indication that we have to worry about being in trouble.

of course he could have a bigger flush with a suited ace that would be ul

to put a range on villain it would be interesting what kind of player he is.

In a $5 most villains would call here very wide, theyre generally very stationy so you have to go for value. i always say at these stakes value value value. unless he gives you reason to believe your behind, your probably way ahead.

If this is one of those hands where villain has it then just dust yourself off, take a note and move on. I bet this way 100%. nh

Yeah I thought it was all fine but then I went back through it in the replayer and though maybe I was only evern getting called by worse.

Been trying to open up my value betting and get thinner value like on the turn – basically villain had a K high flush and so got my fingers burnt and second guessed my line – thanks for confirming it was right,.

I would def. place a value bet, rarely will you be beat by a better flush, so you want to get as much value as you can when you do not.

CBET flop is necessary on flop imo, and valuing the whole way.

I am definitely betting for value here, and if he check raises then I am probably going to make a really unhappy call depending on his sizing.

yep – with everyone else here, seems like am easy value bet given how passively he's played to this point
