V was opening up quite a bit from LP , I thought it was a good spot to 3-bet with this hand. I thought c-betting as a bluff was good here as I have a BD which I can barrel turn , though I’m not loving that play either…
what do u guys do here otf?

Any board with multiple broadway cards and a third connected card should be bet relatively infrequently. Not to say that we don’t want to bluff ever, but on a flop where I’d strongly consider checking back AA/AK (in a 3bet pot), I’m not bluffing very often at all. This board smashes both players’ ranges which I believe incentivizes us to bet less frequently.
This is likely a board where we bet a very narrow range and want to bet quite large (=> 2/3 pot) when we do. I think the 6 combos of AJs/ATs with BDFDs is more than enough combos for bluffs, and they have the added benefit of blocking more pair combos. You could widen your value range by betting fairly small, but even at <=1/3 pot we likely can’t bluff super-often. Although your hand is a decent bluffing candidate, we’d be betting way too many combos if we did this with all of our BDFD aces no matter how small we bet.
