SS and 10/11 Stars 3k gtd.  There's nothing much to say about the villian except he's terrible and 6-10x and showing AK when everyone folds etc.  He's only playing his cards and that's pretty much it.

Is anyone else calling here with 55 for nearly half their stack or am I just tilted?

That's a pretty bad call on the final table bubble with a 4.5bb stack in the CO. Otherwise, maybe a little loose but not super terrible. Your shove is pretty standard obv.

Your shove is as standard as it comes and his call is a little loose but not necessarily super awful.

You no longer have fold equity, but your shove
Is fine. His call is slightly loose in the big blind
But you “should be” (even in a $5 MTT) be shoving
6 big blinds UTG with hands as strong as ANY pair & as
Weak as 910suited. Almost any playable hand should
Be shoving in your spot

Therefore….any pair…any Ax and K9s or.better & even
QJs hands will call you.

Short answer: your shove is fine/ plays great against
His “supposed” calling range.

AND alot of player are folding A2-A9 in “this
Spot at these stakes”

final answer: proper shove, but you ran into
The bottom of their calling range & lost.the race

I think his call is pretty marginal but is just about OK if he's playing to win. And yes, you are tilted! You were short stack here and got it in with a race, celebrate it.
