Villain was running a 12/10 over a significant sample, hadn't seen him get too out of line, but he was recently moved to the table.  This hand cost me a deep run, as I would have been 2nd in chips with around 50 left, but I ended up busting 36th.  So I was just wondering if I should have done anything differently.

running a 12/10 over a significant amount of hands is a bit of alarm bells, but I don't see anything wrong with how you played this hand.  AQ against a button range is just way too strong to fold in this situation.

I'd 3bet a little bit bigger.  I'm all for giving the illusion of fold equity so that they shove lighter on you but your size just allows him to call anything he opened with for pot odds.  You don't force him to make a tough decision at all.

The rest of the hand looks 100% fine.  button opens into you, you have a premium in the blinds, you flop TP with a ton already in the pot and draws on board.  Just a cooler.  Bet more PF though.

agree about raising more pre.  Didn't see that originally.

It is also alarming that this guy 4xed from the button though, no?  Has this been his normal open?

he 4xed once from MP, then 3xed the other open I believe.

Alright thanks, ill 3-bet a little more next time.  Yeah I was worried, but it is a button open, and I have a premium.  I just never felt good about this hand for some reason.

Thanks for the help!

3 bet calling for sure here. reraise pre should be at least 18k taking into consideration that your 3 betting out of position. abit of a cooler imo
