Any one have thoughts about this topic, i also would like to see a Video by the Pros on this topic. Alot of the times this situation occurs and i feel like i dont have enough confidence to raise the bb with a hand like J9 or K2 , So very interested in this topic . Thanks TPE TEAM and Members
If you have a weak bb then yes, I open from the sb a lot.
In general though, I play my small blind very cautiously vs the big blind. The bb is going to be flatting you often in BvB scenarios, and we are going to be out of position with marginal hands(for the most part). Of course, I am being very general again. It depends a lot on stack sizes and what not.

Something i’ve been trying lately from the SB when folded to is replacing a straight steal with a limp/lead. Serves the same purpose, but sometimes looks a little more “legit”.
I’ve not experimented with it enough to say I like it, but it’s an interesting change of pace.
