$25 on 888.  Villian seemed to be a pretty good reg and is a winning player but raise sizes were always very big and he folds to 3b/4b a lot.  Other guy was very solid.

I was playing pretty aggro once we got to 3 handed.   Villian's standard 3b was always big and I'd 4b him sbvsbb in this same way a few hands before this.  Was only $90 diff between 3rd/2nd.

I think 3handed this depends a lot on table dynamic. Given the info you had I think a call isn' terrible. I think I'd still fold since you are sitting fairly deep, even if you fold here. AJs is nice to play IP, so you could just call his 3bet in position and evaluate on the flop. That's what I'd do in a vaccum but during play, if you got a good gameflow feeling this might be a call. Still I think you are rarely ahead, flipping often vs his 77+ and beeing behind sometimes against AQ+ and JJ+.

Given stack sizes, I think 4bet-fold seems reasonable, 3bet-call maybe the best play.

I agree with Sen, I think depending on game flow this can be a call. But I like to flat this in position and play postflop. Preflop is kind of a guessing game. With AK or AQ 99/TT+I like 4bet call. His 3bet has to get through the bb and you, seems strong. What was your plan? 4bet call or 4bet fold? Had he 3bet/5bet before? And what about making your 4bet smaller?
