It seems totally standard to ship 66 vs the LP open although the situation is very read heavy. If CO is a reg then it is likely JJ+. If it is a fish opening then it could be a much wider range and he could even be raise folding. Against a random opponent on Merge I would 3b shove here, but the tendencies of a PS random may be that the raise is more nutted than not. I would look at his HUD stats and sharkscope the opponent really quickly if possible and make a decision. The tighter he is and the more winning he is, the more it becomes a fold. The looser he is and the more losing he is, the more it becomes a profitable shove.

I personally am 3 bet shoving 99+ here. Of course this is all read dependent, but with the villains stack you are going to be flipping at best imo. To me he is screaming action and trying to induce. Now, if you have seen this play and the villain has open folded quite a bit with this stack size then rip it in.

in a $4 tourney, I can't ever imagine this guy is raise/folding a 12 BB stack. He is almost always, begging for action when he opens in this spot.
I can't imagine a hand that you beat, that he wouldn't just jam preflop. I can come up with a lot of hands, that he is raise-inducing with.
Final Answer: Snap fold pre imo.

ESPECIALLY in a $4 tourney you can see shit like r/f 12bb stacks. I ship 66 here and feel good about it .. sometimes he folds and sometimes we flip. In those huge donkfields I don't mind flipping and getting a big stack.

Not sure I'm ready to take such a nailed on flip (you're rarely crushing) with 200 still left…. I'm taking this kinda gamble with 30 left to get a big stack to hit FT with…. with 200 left still a way off from that.

with the co raising off a stack of 12bb i dont think you have much fold equity here, if the player in the co is good then imo hes more likely to have you crushed and because he opened for min i would lean more towards thinking hes competent. even if the co is a donk i still would rather be first in than 3 bet shove here.

Your argument is actually FOR shipping 66 here, not against. With 200 people left villain's range is way wider than with 30 people left. When microdonks can already see the FT they need AJ+, 88+ to raise/call. With a couple 100 left they snap you off with KQs because the hand looks pretty and they have been folding for 2 orbits.
