Deep in Sunday's FTP and Short Stacked... am I pushing here?

1) To take a page from the podcast… with 10 BB and M of less than 5 am I desperate or just short stacked

2) My thought is that I still have enough chips that if I shove the SB with no action in front of me that I can get the BB to fold.

I shove….!!

If it folds around to me in this spot, cards don't matter. (The tighter my Image the better of course) The looser my image the more likely I am to get looked up lighter by the BB.

in the last couple of weeks i have tended to fold this a bit more than i used to – if this was 9bb i would prolly shove, but with 12bb you have at least 1 more orbit to try and pick up a better hand to shove with. so i probably fold here.

Any two cards doesn't really justify jamming, however, you're pretty close.

according to ICM (on a 0.5,0.3,0.2 payout structure) = 69.2% so.. your non-exploitable jamming range is : 22+, Qx+, J2s+, J7o+, 93s+, 96o+, 84s+, 86o, 74s+, 76o+, 63s+, 65o+, 53s+ 43s…

So, on the basis of this structure your 45s falls just within the jamming range. So shut your eyes, clench your buttocks, and JAM! JAM! JAM!

Your jamming range will obviously open up further in subsequent hands as your getting taxed by the antes.

If you nail it, you may need to rock yourself off your chair to break the suction!
