Original raiser would have less than 20bbs if I just flat.  About 9 off the $.  I don’t like the JJ call myself either.  Me 14/11, MP1 21/15-119 hands, SB 10/9-121 hands.

If you're aiming to put yourself in position to win the tourney rather than trying to min cash then yes I think this is a fine jam. With his preflop raise size he is basically saying he is going with his hand. Flatting to see a flop and then folding I think is just ugly, unless you're flatting to induce the blinds to squeeze, but this is unlikely with the openers 5x open. Folding pre to a single open seems way way too tight. There is a chance he has AA KK but more likely a hand like he has top middling pairs that he is scared to play post flop if it comes K or A high. You went to the races and lost this time.

With 20ish BBs and JJ in your hand, someone jams over your open what hand do you put them on most often? AK. Are you going to take the flip? I know I would. I dont agree with his opening sizing because he has given himself no option to get away from it. The 2nd Jam over might have given me cause to fold JJ pre though regardless of the opening size.

The original opener(mp1) had ak as well. The sb instacalled my jam with jj and the original opener behind. I would probably fold jj pre in his spot with a 5x and a shove in front.

Mis-read it there – with that action JJ can be folded pre your right. I though the JJ hand had opened.

Dont think you have to rip here. think I am 3betting with
The intention of calling a jam from opener.

If sb jams & then opener rejams…then you maybe reevaluate

Shove is prob fine….but you get some worse aces
to fold.

Hmm I didn’t really just want to flat with his stack size as i can’t imagine he’s going to 5x and then fold to a shove. I’m happy to get it in with AK and see all five cards to get a stack to make a run. Maybe i should take a lower variance route though this close to the $ with a playable stack?

snap shove with stacks, he might even fold due to be close to the bubble…

Easy shove since the original opener 5x'd. If he makes it 2-3x then I 3b/call pre as you are keeping worse A's in his range and he might feel like you are just trying to steal on the button.

I love how bad people play AK (IR, not you). Think your jam here is fine given his sizing, can't ever fold there. If he had made a standard open then I think 3bet to call off but I play it the same. At least it was quick.
