Hey gang, i'm not sure if this topic should go in this sub forum, but it seemed like the most sensible to me.

Just curious how you color code your opponents when labelling them? Do you use the standard green for bad red for good? I've read the TPE article on making notes, but it appears that the color coding there is on the basis of previous results from websites like sharkscope and OPR and i don't really do that in game.

Thanks guys, hope everyone is putting up some good scores for Christmas,

Daniel smile

This is what i use. I think i adapted it from betudontbet's vid, as well as chatting with other guys. i have added what i usually use for categorisation with sharkscope

Yellow – standard note – might be something i which i have noted but havent got any other info or havent scoped someone yet

Green – Fish – Losing player obv

Light Blue – Regfish – usually someone that has played more than 1000 games, and is a significant loser at medium stakes, or is breakeven/losing at lower stakes

Dark Blue – TPEers

Purple – someone i know – no real reason for separating these form TPEers other than that i had a spare colour

Magenta – sicko – usually someone ranked on sharkscope, or has huge winnings on their sharkscope, usually >100k in profit

Red – Good Reg – Significant winner over lots of games, prolly >10k but < 100k

Orange – Standard Reg – small/medium winner over lots of games, particularly when most of them at at lower stakes. i.e the guys that are up 5k after playing a few thousand $7 180s or something

hope that helps. what do other people do?

I play on Carbon and their tags aren't really colors, My coding is: LAG – Yellow chip, Loose Passive – Green chip, TAG – Orange chip, and Tight Passive – Red chip, TAGfish – fish; LAGfish – Whale, Sunglasses – Reg, and really good players are a shark.

I worked out my own before any reading forums or training sites and ended up being almost identical to Benny :O
I’m colour coding and making notes in my HUD stats in pt4 instead of the actual site software now. It saves having to back up the folders for each site in case the pc crashes. Only prob though is when/if I change to hm2.

i used to do it, but i dont really see the point in tagging someone as tight passive or loose passive, because you can get that from their HUD stats.

i much prefer to tag people based on their ability, because you can definitely have someone that looks taggish and either be a regfish, or a sicko and its hard to tell.

mines something like this

green – friends, TPE'rs

Dark purple – Obv FISH, heavy losing players or players that do >1 thing unexcusably horrible while im playing with them

Light purple – losing players/ breakeven players decent volume

yellow – random notes, not enough hands, not enough info, havent looked them up on SS

orange – good regs, winning players – no specific cash amount but has to have decent volume

red – betudontbet, imdanuts, moorman etc
