I’ve recieved a couple inquiries about MTT coaching and I’ve decided that it’s something I’d really like to get back into.

I’m still in Vegas and won’t be able to start actively coahing until I get back and settled, but I thought I’d make this thread to put it out there that I am available for coaching and taking on students.

My method will be as follows.

We will talk over Skype about what you are looking for as a prospective student not only in terms of what you want to learn, but also how many hours you’d like to commit to and how much you are looking to spend.

If we decide to move forward I will request a full HH of a recent tournament you’ve played in order to get a feel for your game and what leaks you might have. I’m in the process of writing something of a primer to the fundamentals of MTTs, as well as perhaps some other useful tools that I will make available to you at this time.

From there we will schedule actual coaching sessions that will consist of either my sweating you play or you sweating me play. To do this we will use Mikogo to share screens and Skype to talk. Bare in mind this will not be ghosting. I will not be offering advice on hands while they are being played, but rather listening to your thought process/reasoning for the decisions you make and commenting on them/asking you questions and answering any questions you have about hands after they have happened.

My rate to begin will be $100/hour. If I find that I am a great coach and/or demand begins to grow to a certain point I certainly reserve the right to raise this rate, although obviously any sessions booked before any rate increase will be grandfathered in at the earlier rate.

If you have any questions/interest then please feel free to PM me and we can proceed from there.

Thanks,

Hagbard
