  My image is really tight roughly VPIP 21 PFR 9 up until now, I have been horribly card dead. Good shove?

This is a complete replay of hand, I am interested in preflop opinion.

Hand here

Replaying fine here. Any reads on villain? I am shoving here any pair, probably any A, lots of suited connectors and some offsuit broadway cards unless I feel like he's trapping with a big pair.

Reads on the villain would be nice. Furthermore it would be nice to know the buyin.

Generally I am not a huge fan of shoving these baby pairs, nevertheless esp with a tight image I would probably shove here. Range of previous comment seems fine, though I would probaby take out some baby offsuit aces

I think that you played it optimal. You were playing in the SB and UTG limps in the pot. Funnurada is correct wanting to get more reads on the UTG guy would be nice. If he was a spew, then yeah, 33 would have been proper. I would like to know what the BB guy's image was too. If you had simply flatted the flat, that would be terrible and I think a 3 bet would have been improper to because the UTG would have shipped in his spot being big ole stack at the table. I am trying not to be results oriented here but the answer to your question in my opinion would be ship. Given the basic understanding that UTG is avg player and BB who has same amount of chips.I hope that helps.

I played unwell yesterday and the similar hands crushed me yesterday and so yeah, it is being gunshy after those situations that get me tanking a bit. Thanks for the preflop post.

      I didn't have a solid read on the other players, was one of those games where you are moved every few hands. I think I only had about 20 hands with villian. I wanted to get your opinions if this would have been an exceptable shove, in my situation. I felt afterwards that the frustration of being card dead and musical chairs may have influenced my decision and was not sure if I shoved in the right spot or should have waited.

its fine…you say u were card dead but you couldnt shove like J9o or something in LP at any point? surely if you send someone your HH, there were spots you might have missed.

I'm probbaly too much of a nit when playing between 13-22 BBs.  But to a 100 BBs stack opening UTG (although the min raise indicates wider range).  I am folding 22-44 PPs.

In Stove against a 22% range that includes all Broadways all PPs, all Suited Aces A9o+ and a few SC's your are a 44% dog.

Funny enough (though not to you probably frown) you got it in with one of the only  6 hand combos you dominate (6 22 combos. (32s combos and 32o combos we can probably discard as most likely not in his range)

equity win tie       pots won pots tied

Hand 0: 55.654%  54.99% 00.66%     1621556916 19455300.00   { 22+, A2s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, A9o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }

Hand 1: 44.346%  43.69% 00.66%     1288119972 19455300.00   { 33 }

I don't like it. I am folding.

– It is preante. This means you want to be the first one in in better spots and can still go through the blinds another orbit before you begin to blind out.

– You beat 22… This is the only hand you beat and its a miracle he has it this time. His limping range is 22-55, suited connectors, sometimes monsters, broadways etc. So you are praying for 22 or a flip every time, which is unnecessary atm.

– You barely have fold equity against these fish from your stack. So above usually applys.

– I am shoving 55s+, KJs, a10o+ etc

+1 to this. This was exactly what I was thinking. Really doesn't make much sense to jam 33 here in this spot.  Especially since that guy has a huge stack and he's much more likely to call.

Thanks for the feedback guys. After the game I felt it was a bad shove and thought my emotions did play a part. I was at 10bb and  feeling desperate. Needles to say I was in full push/fold mode with my stack. However, I should have realized I just finished my blinds and could have gone another rotation in hopes of picking up something better. Lesson learned, especially on the river.
