This is a hand a friend played on a UK poker site.

Sky Poker is known for new players to poker so full of fish and amateurs. There are a few good players but becuase its mostly low stakes and low guarantees theres not many.

This is a £200 guarantee and its £5.50 buy-in 6-max mtt

The blinds are 10/20 so 1st level. My friend is in the BB, so…

SB (4710) 10

BB (5550) 20 – hole cards JJ

UTG folds

MP (4740) raises to 40

CO (4840) 3-bets to 120

BUT (4610) 4-bets to 360

SB folds

BB???

He has no reads but knows that these players (95% of players on this site) are never cold 4-betting light and never cold 4-betting worse than JJ especially in the 1st level.

Can we set mine this deep (we would fold all flops with no J, straight draws & flush draws) if we think  that the players behind wont 5-bet and we know that if we hit that were gettin paid 99% of the time or is it just to spewy and better to fold?

if we take the absolut minimum IO required if we now we get stacks in then i think we can call with having more then 10:1 IO on  our call

the problem is. how do we make sure that we see a flop here ever with an OR, a 3bet and a cold4bet? even the 3bet should not be to light at this stages of the tournament.

and if the players are really that bad as described then i don need to invest about 7% of my stack in such a spot.

i am folding pre

Yeah I'd fold pre too. We are likely dominated and not guaranteed to even see the flop here.

I agree with folding the JJ pre here, 4bet shows such a strong range. Would folding queens here be too tight? i think i would be jamming AA or KK here but thats it, i feel that might be too tight though.

this spot feels like a fold to me, the three better may squeeze again seeing you call behind, but i suppose there is an argument for putting in the 360 to potentially win like 13-15k. if you overcall 3 better may just flat 4 bet with say qq and if flop j25 you may stack qq and aa.

i have won some huge pots early in tourneys overcalling in spots like these when you are so deep, losing 360 doesnt really matter at this stage, so i think you can go either way.

Fold pre. Were not closing the action either. No stack sizes but a good amount of the time I expect shoves behind us.
